Dr. Carrie Lintner DDS
Dr. Lintner was born and raised in Manistee, MI. She attended the University of Michigan School of Dentistry and graduated in 2000 and moved to Kalamazoo after graduation. She is currently a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Dental organization for Conscious Sedation, American Association of Women Dentists, as well as the Kalamazoo Valley Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, and American Dental Association. Dr. Lintner’s training includes advanced certification in administering oral conscious sedation, esthetic dentistry and Invisalign (clear braces). She has also taken courses to state of art techniques, such as Lumineers and other techniques in endodontics and restorative dentistry. She is a graduate of the Dawson Center for Advanced Education in Dentistry, which focuses on cosmetic dentistry and full mouth restoration.
Dr. Lintner lives nearby with her husband and daughter and she keeps busy with her family.
Dr. Laura Wasek-Throm, DMD, MPH
Dr. Throm grew up in Traverse City and attended Alma College, graduating with a degree in Physiology. She then attended the University of Michigan for a Masters of Public Health in Epidemiology. For four years, she worked as an Epidemiologist with the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago at Northwestern University. Her research on traumatic brain injuries focused on new veterans returning from combat, and was funded by the Department of Defense and the National Institutes of Health. Her rewarding experiences working with patients there led her back to school to pursue her original dream of becoming a healthcare provider.
Dr. Throm attended dental school at the University of Illinois at Chicago, graduating with honors. Her family moved to Kalamazoo after her husband Tim accepted a job at Stryker, and have been happy to be in Michigan ever since. She and her husband have a one-year-old daughter named Isla. In her spare time Dr. Throm enjoys spending time with her family, sailing, and taking advantage of everything that West Michigan has to offer.
Dr. Bill Lustig, DDS
Dr. Bill Lustig was born in Detroit, MI and graduated from Detroit Catholic Central High School before heading to Ann Arbor and the University of Michigan. He graduated from U-M School of Dentistry in 1971. He honed his skills working with kids in a medical-dental clinic in the inner city of Detroit for three years, before starting a general practice in Barre, Vermont.
He moved to Kalamazoo in 1977 and started his practice. After more than 35 years of experience in nearly every phase of dentistry, he focuses mostly on cosmetic, restorative dentistry, and pedodontics.
In 2002 he sold his practice to Dr. Carrie Lintner and now is thrilled to still be connected to the patients and staff as a associate dentist. Since “semi-retiring”, he has traveled with Rotary International to help improve the dental health of poor mountain villagers in Latin America, and he is also the dental director of the Free Clinic of Kalamazoo.
When he is not in the office, he can be found playing tennis, golf, cycling or hiking around northern Michigan.
Melissa - Dental Hygienist
Melissa joined the Lindenwoods Dental team in 2004. She brings over 17 years dental experience to our practice. Graduating with honors in 2001, she works full-time in our office and is a part-time clinical instructor at KVCC. Melissa also sits on the Dental Hygiene Advisory Board for KVCC. Melissa was born and raised in Kalamazoo. She enjoys an active lifestyle raising her children, traveling, and nurturing friendships!
Paula - Dental Hygienist
Paula has been a dental hygienist for over 30 years, working at Lindenwoods Dental for over 20 of those years. She enjoys staying active by walking and bicycling. She is married and has 2 daughters whom are both married. She is looking forward to her first grandchild due in June 2018.
Shari - Office Manager & Financial Coordinator
Shari began working with the office in 2004 as a treatment coordinator and is now our Office Manager. She enjoys working with the great family at Lindenwoods Dental. She is married and has two daughters and a son-in-law. In her off time she loves to travel, golf and bike.
Amy - Treatment Coordinator
Amy has been in the dental profession since 1998, when she started working for Dr. Lustig and has continued with Dr. Lintner, since 2002. She enjoys working with her team at Lindenwoods Dental and she thrives on taking care of patients as if they were family. In her spare time, she enjoys indoor and outdoor sports and spending time with family and friends.
Danielle - Treatment Coordinator
Danielle has been working in the dental field for 6 years, 4 of those years at Lindenwoods Dental as a Treatment Coordinator. She is married and has a son who will be 2 in July. She enjoys singing and photography. She is looking forward to watching her son grow and enjoying time with her husband.
Julia - Treatment Coordinator
Julia has been in the dental profession for over 14 years and had enjoyed every day of it. She has three great kids who she is very proud of and spends a lot of time with. She considers herself a free spirit. She does many things in her spare time and believes it is important to stay healthy both mentally and physically.
